National 863 program theme project "Flexible DC transmission device key technology and application" passed acceptance

Recently, the High Technology Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology organized in Beijing the "Twelfth Five-Year" national 863 plan theme project "Flexible DC transmission device key technology and application" acceptance meeting.

"12th Five-Year" National 863 Plan "Flexible DC transmission device key technology and application" project team after three years of scientific and technological research, overcome the flexible DC high-precision measurement, high-voltage submarine cable, high-voltage DC circuit breaker, DC power distribution, simulation technology, urban power supply and other technical problems. For the first time in China, all fiber optic current sensor, 110kV mechanical HVDC circuit breaker, 10kV hybrid DC circuit breaker, 15kV/200kW DC transformer, 20kV/20MW compact converter valve and other key equipment have been developed. A number of test platforms such as HVDC circuit breaker and real-time simulation of DC distribution system were established. Among them, all-fiber current sensor and compact converter valve have been applied many times in UHV DC project, flexible DC project and UPFC.
