Complete equipment component installation process

1. Scope of application

This code applies to the installation of components of complete sets of switchgear such as high and low voltage switchgear cabinets (screens, tables, boxes).

Step 2: Tools

Pneumatic gun, riveting gun, electrician's knife, screwdriver, wire cutters, needle nose pliers, round clamp pliers, wrench, (file knife), small hammer, rubber hammer or nylon hammer, steel measuring tape, ruler, hacksaw, multimeter.

3. Make preparations before the operation

3.1 All components used must be inspected and qualified products, and with the manufacturer's qualification label can be used and installed. (Note: Certificate and manual are attached at the factory)

3.2 Check the manufacturing specifications, and check whether the model, specification and quantity of electrical components conform to the requirements of the manufacturing specifications.

3.3 Prepare all installation components and fasteners.

3.4 To use fasteners, special fastener cars and boxes should be used, and other objects should not be substituted.

4. Installation requirements

4.1 Components must be installed according to the construction wiring diagram, standards, and process documents.

4.2 The components should be neatly arranged and beautiful, and the components behind the panel should be easy to connect, test, and maintain.

4.3 The distance between the primary and secondary cables of the low-voltage cabinet and the installation position of the components must not be less than 250mm from the ground. If environmental conditions do not permit, the distance between the end cables of the high-voltage cabinet and the ground must not be less than 700mm.

4.4 Double insulation protection measures should be added to the weak current components selected in the strong current system (that is, an insulating board should be installed between the components and the mounting board).
