State Grid Ali and Tibetan-China grid interconnection project put into operation

State Grid Co., LTD. Ali and Tibetan-Central power grid networking project (referred to as "Ali networking project") put into operation. The Ali Network Project is another ultra-high altitude and extremely difficult power transmission and transformation project completed by the State Grid Corporation after the three "power heavenly roads" of the Qinghai-Tibet Electric Power Network, Sichuan-Tibet electric Power Network and Tibetan-China electric Power Network, which breaks through the forbidden area of life and challenges the survival limit.

The Ali Network project has a total investment of 7.4 billion yuan and started construction in September 2019. The project starts at Dolin 220 kV substation in Sangzhizi District, Shigatse City, and ends at 220 kV Bar Substation in Gar County, Nali Prefecture, spanning 10 districts and counties in 2 prefectural cities in Tibet. Six new 500 kV and 220 kV substations have been built, with 944 kilometers of 500 kV lines (double loop) and 731 kilometers of 220 kV lines (single loop). The 110 kV line is 14 kilometers, and the total length of the transmission line is 1689 kilometers.
