China Southern Power Grid will invest 25.1 billion yuan to build charging facilities in the next four years
China Southern Power Grid will soon deploy centralized charging stations in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Hainan Free Trade Zone and key cities in Guangxi, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces. It plans to invest 25.1 billion yuan in the construction of charging facilities in the next four years, and build 150 large-scale centralized charging stations and 380,000 charging piles.
From Kunming in Yunnan Province in the west to Guangxi and Guangdong in the east, spanning nearly 1,500 kilometers, Kunliulong DC transmission Project is a national UHV multi-terminal DC demonstration project. Recently, the Southern Power Grid Company accelerated the construction of new infrastructure represented by UHV, artificial intelligence, and new energy vehicle charging piles.

In the field of artificial intelligence of "new infrastructure", on March 29, the highest load of the Southern Power Grid was adjusted to 139 million kilowatts, and the electricity sold by the whole network was 2.738 billion KWH. This forecast template began trial operation in mid-March, allowing dispatchers to get rid of the traditional manual calculation time-consuming and laborious troubles, and gradually become a powerful "weapon" for Southern Power grid to forecast load in advance, adjust the operation mode of the power grid, and ensure the power supply.
