The first UHV project serving Xiongan New Area was completed and put into operation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, forming the world's first UHV double loop network

At 3:12 on June 4, the Xiongan-Shijiazhuang 1000kV UHV AC project was officially put into operation. This is the first UHV project serving the Xiongan New Area, creating conditions for the Xiongan New Area to achieve 100% clean energy supply; At the same time, the formation of the world's first UHV double loop network in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei will effectively improve the safe and stable operation of the power grid in North China and greatly improve the power grid's ability to optimize the allocation of energy resources.

The Xiongan-Shijiazhuang 1000kV UHV exchange project is a national key project to serve the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and the construction of the Xiongan New Area. It was approved in July 2017 and began construction in March 2018. New transmission lines2? 222.6 kilometers, through Baoding, Xindi, Hengshui, Xingtai 4 cities and 12 counties (cities and districts), the expansion of Xiongan, Shijiazhuang UHV substations, a total investment of 3.44 billion yuan.

After the completion of the project, it will form UHV AC ring network of North China Power Grid together with UHV projects such as Ximeng - Shandong, Mengxi - Tianjin South, Yuheng - Weifang, etc., providing multi-directional channels for clean energy such as wind power generation and solar power generation in Northwest and Zhangbei regions to enter Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei load consumption Center, greatly enhancing the capacity of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to absorb clean energy. Improving the operation and management level of the national backbone power grid is of great significance and role in ensuring national energy security and winning the blue sky defense war. At the same time, this clean energy channel has laid the foundation for the Xiongan New Area power grid to achieve reliable power supply and full time clean energy supply.

The project is also a demonstration project of the State Grid "signing before construction" (that is, completing the signing of the compensation agreement for the demolition of the channel and the compliance formalities before the start of construction), and completing the approval, environmental assessment approval, water protection approval, safety report, quality supervision registration and other all the commencement requirements and 220 path agreements and channel cleaning agreements before the start of construction. The amount of demolition involved in this project is more than 6 times the sum of the three UHV AC projects that have been completed in Hebei Province. Governments at all levels along the line and local people have given strong support and cooperation, achieved environmental friendliness, friendly relations and friendly construction, opened up the green channel of engineering construction, effectively reduced the occurrence of engineering obstacles, and effectively guaranteed the large-scale continuous construction of the project. It has promoted the safety, quality, efficiency and early production of the project, and has played a demonstration and leading role in the future construction of Xiongan power grid.
