As China makes a "carbon peak, carbon neutral" commitment, and requires that by 2030 China's total installed capacity of wind power and solar power generation reach more than 1.2 billion kilowatts, the "14th Five-Year Plan" period is bound to have more clean energy connected to the grid, new energy penetration rate will be further increased.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, China's UHV AC network, especially the UHV AC network and the support capacity of the power grid in the eastern and central regions, will gradually strengthen, the operation mode of the UHV AC and DC power grid will be more flexible, the transmission capacity will continue to improve, and the power grid's cross-provincial and cross-regional resource allocation capacity and mutual economic adjustment capacity will continue to strengthen. At the same time, the two-way intelligent interaction of the distribution network, the local supply and demand balance, and the elastic recovery ability will continue to improve, supporting the industry's expectations for the leapfrog development of new energy in China.
