State Grid new energy transactions in the first half of the year increased by 16.4%

State Grid business area clean energy trading power 652.6 billion KWH, an increase of 15.3%, of which wind power, photovoltaic power generation and other new energy trading power 231.4 billion KWH, an increase of 16.4%. Electricity market trading has strongly promoted the consumption of new energy, in the first half of the year, the new energy utilization rate of the State grid business area is 96.1%, an increase of 2.8 percentage points. This means that the company has completed the target task of "new energy utilization rate of more than 95% in 2019".

At the same time, the State grid has also actively implemented the spot market construction pilot, incremental distribution reform pilot, independent standardized operation of trading institutions, and other electricity reform tasks.

In the first half of the year, as Zhejiang, Sichuan, Fujian and Shandong power spot markets successively launched simulated trial operations, marking the full launch of the first six spot market construction pilot units in the State Grid operating area, completing the spot market pilot construction task in the first half of 2019, marking a key and substantial step forward in China's power marketization reform; Beijing Power Trading Center Co., Ltd. capital expansion implementation plan has been approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, 24 provincial power trading institutions to accelerate the transformation of the demutualization work, to further deepen the independent and standardized operation of trading institutions to create good conditions, laid a solid foundation.
