China's installed capacity of renewable energy in the past decade has reached 600 million kilowatts, ranking first in the world
Recently, Li Chuangjun, deputy director of the New Energy and renewable Energy Department of the National Energy Administration, said at the China Delingha Solar Thermal Conference on the 22nd that China's installed capacity of renewable energy has reached 600 million kilowatts in the past decade, ranking first in the world.
Li Chuangjun introduced that the development of renewable energy has become a universal consensus and concerted action of all countries in the world. The state attaches great importance to the development of renewable energy, and it is clear that by 2020, China plans to increase the proportion of new energy in primary energy consumption to about 25%. Carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP should be reduced by 40 to 45 percent from the 2005 level, and non-fossil energy sources should account for 20 percent of total primary energy consumption by 2030. Carbon dioxide emissions per unit of GDP should be reduced by 60 to 65 percent from the 2005 level. Carbon emissions should peak around 2030, and strive to peak as soon as possible.
