On February 28, the ±800 kV UHV direct current project in northern Shaanxi - Hubei Province, which is the first newly started UHV project of the State Grid Corporation this year, with a total investment of 18.5 billion yuan, is expected to directly drive equipment production of about 12 billion yuan, drive power and other related industries investment of more than 70 billion yuan, and increase employment of more than 40,000 jobs.
