The "14th Five-Year Plan" power grid planning plan will complete the UHV to meet the heavy gold layout within the year

It is reported that the State grid Corporation is stepping up the organization of the "14th Five-Year Plan" power grid planning research work, plans to complete the planning report within the year, reported to the National Energy Board. Among them, the UHV, known as the focus of "new infrastructure", will accelerate its progress and play a greater role in stabilizing growth, adjusting structure and improving people's lives.

This trend of "heavy money" layout has been evident this year. As the main force of power grid investment, the State Grid has continuously increased the annual investment scale of UHV construction projects in 2020 to 181.1 billion yuan, which can drive social investment of 360 billion yuan, and the overall scale of 541.1 billion yuan. While accelerating the resumption of work and production, a number of projects are striving to be approved and started within the year. China Southern Power Grid Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Southern Power Grid") is also accelerating the construction of new infrastructure represented by UHV and new energy vehicle charging piles, which will inject strong impetus into economic and social development.

In September 2018, the National Energy Administration issued the Notice on Accelerating the Planning and Construction of a Number of Key Power Transmission and Transformation Projects, including the "5-5 direct" UHV projects in northern Shaanxi and Hubei provinces into the national planning. At present, some projects have started construction, and some projects are carrying out preliminary work.

By the end of 2019, the State Grid has built a total of "11 and 11 direct" UHV projects, with a cumulative investment of more than 430 billion yuan. At present, we are accelerating the construction of 1000kv Weifang - Linyi - Zaozhuang - Heze - Shijiazhuang, Zhumadian - Nanyang, Zhangbei - Xiongan exchange project and ±800kv Qinghai - Henan, Yazhong - Jiangxi, Shaanxi - Hubei DC project, which is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2020-2021
