State Grid article 15 UHV completed and put into operation!

At 11:00 on August 14, 2017, Yuheng-Weifang 1000 kV UHV AC power transmission and transformation project successfully completed 72-hour trial operation and was officially put into operation.

Engineering significance

1. Grid structure

The west of the project is connected to the coal power base of Shaanxi and Shanxi, and the east is connected to the Zalute-Qingzhou UHV Direct current project and the Ximan-Shandong UHV AC project, which is an important part of the UHV network in North China.

2. Balance between supply and demand

After the project is put into operation, it is of great significance to improve the power transmission capacity of Shaanxi and Shanxi, meet the load growth demand of Hebei and Shandong power networks, strengthen the power grid support role of UHV DC projects, and improve the ecological environment quality in North China.
